Mr. Philbert “Phil” Gregory Pargas of Denver, Colorado dies on November 23, 2021 at the age of 90.
Phil was born to Lupe (Rodriguez) Pargas and David Pargas on May 1, 1931 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He grew up with four siblings. In October of 1950 Phil married Rose Garcia of Greeley, Colorado. They had four children Rudy, Daniel (Danny), Steven (Russ) and Genevieve (Gibby).
Phil worked at Monfort’s meat Packing plan and was a self-employed Cement Finisher.
One of Phil’s greatest loves was baseball, and another, his grandchildren. He spent about ten years of his life helping raise his two youngest grandchildren.
Phil is survived by his son Rudy (Joan) Pargas, his daughter, Genevieve (Pargas) Bear, his brother Henry (Mary Ann) Pargas, Grandchildren, Gregory (Janice) Pargas, Jeffrey (Jessica) Pargas, Elizabeth (Daniel) Decker, Angela (Megan) Bear and Jessica (Kory) Wilson, and three great-grandchildren and one grand-dog.
Phil was preceded in death by his sons Daniel Pargas and Steven Pargas, his parents Lupe Pargas and David Pargas, his sister Ida Ruiz and brothers Joe Pargas and Alfred Pargas.
His life will be celebrated in a private event.
