Patricia Fay Purcell

Patricia Fay Purcell, 76, of Denver, Colorado, passed away on March 20, 2025. Born on September 20, 1948, Patricia was the daughter of George Holmes (wife Dorothy) and Mary Holmes, both of whom preceded her in death.

She is survived by her daughter, Denise (Bruce) Denmark; grandchildren, Colette (Dave) Hirshblond, Crista (Mark) Brooks, Kevin Denmark, and Ryan Denmark; and great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Pamela (Dave) Lowe; her brother, Greg Holmes; and several nieces and nephews.

Patricia was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Edgington, with whom she shared many meaningful years, as well as her brothers, Cliff Holmes and Steven Holmes.

A devoted animal lover, Patricia was known for her compassion, always welcoming any stray animal in need. This love for animals was one of the many qualities that endeared her to everyone who knew her.

Though Patricia’s life took many paths, she leaves behind a lasting impact on all who knew her. She will be missed, and her memory will remain with those who loved her.
