Pamela June (Stevenson) Florio, 88, lost her battle with Alzheimer’s and passed away peacefully
on November 12, 2018 in Albuquerque, NM. Born in Norwich, England on November 24, 1929, the
daughter of Horace and Gladys (Welley) Stevenson. Pam was married to Frank King (predeceased in
1971) and Joe Florio (predeceased in 2014). She enjoyed gardening, music, dancing, sewing, knitting,
and her faith. Mostly though, her focus was family first.
Survivors are her daughter Coral (Rick) Green, son Carl (Debbie) King, son Adam (Cathy) Florio,
daughter Heidi Florio, daughter Rebecca Florio, grandson Michael (Elise) King, grandson James King,
grandson Zane (Erica) Green, granddaughter Jessie (Brad) Gruner, grandson Ryan King, great
granddaughter Kenzie King, and great grandson Dawson Gruner. Pam was preceded in death by son
Michael (Debbie) King.
A service will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, November 17, 2018, at the Kingdom Hall of
Jehovah's Witnesses located at 8904 Menaul Blvd. NE, Albuquerque, NM 87112. A reception to celebrate
her life will be held with family and close friends immediately following at the home of Coral and Rick
Green. Cremation has taken place and a private burial will take place at a later date. In lieu of sending
flowers, please consider a contribution to the Alzheimer's Association of NM. Special thanks to the entire
staff at MorningStar Senior Living, Memory Care, for their love and care for Pam during the past two
years. Also, special thanks to the amazing people at Hospice De La Luz for their exceptional care and
genuine love of Pam.
