Olin Murrell

Olin Landon Murrell passed away on July 24, 2017. He was preceded in death by his son, Gary and mother, Pauline. Olin was raised in Gainesville TX and as adult he loved to travel. He visited India, Russia and Hawaii as well as many historic sites in the US. Many people remember him as a wonderful talk show host on the radio in San Antonio, Houston, and Austin. His second love was music. He wrote and performed his songs throughout the US. Some of his most favorite times were when he performed in Tim Henderson Belt Buckle Band. On March 11,1988 he married Molly and they enjoyed traveling, movies and going out to hear music. He will be greatly missed by many, many people. The family would like to say thank you to Dr. Andrew Kennedy and his office for the wonderful and compassionate care given to Olin. He had 2 ½ years longer because of you.
He is survived by his wife Molly, grandkids, and cousins. In lieu of flowers a donation in his name to Alive Hospice or liver cancer research.
