Obed Martinez (AKA) Leroy, Pops, 58, a resident of Chimayo went home on Saturday, October 28, 2017. Leroy touched the lives of many people with his warm smile and sense of humor. He enjoyed eating, laughing and being with his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Estefanita Martinez; brothers Enrique “Ricky” and Larry “Jesse” Martinez.
Leroy is survived by his three children, Kerina (Leon) Bustos, Obed Martinez and Hannah Martinez;two grandchildren, Dominic Bustos and Daniel Padilla;his brothers Joe (Susan), Eduardo (Beatrice)
and Daniel (Maureen) Martinez; sisters Seferina (Joe) Maes, Dorothy (Gilbert) Martinez, Celia Rose Martinez, Lorinda (Louie) Martinez and Thelma (Richard) Lovato; Sharon Martinez; Theresa Baca
As well as many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Very supportive ex-wife and her Husband, Margaret and Peter Trujillo.
Friends and family are invited to attend a memorial service on Wednesday, November 1, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at The Lighthouse Church in Chimayo.
Burial is pending.
