Naomi Byrd

Naomi was born to Leola Byrd and John Lenox on January 1, 1947 in Woodland, California.
Naomi was given a nick name by her younger siblings. It gave her pleasure to be called Yonie- it was easier for the children to say then her full name. She was the oldest of four sisters and two brothers. Naomi spent time in Seattle for studies, lived in Wyoming and started a family.
She enjoyed Cartoons, Westerns, the occasional scratch ticket, family gatherings, and Italian Ice as we discovered recently.
Naomi moved from Wyoming to Denver, Colorado. She leaves her four children to carry her memory, as well as her mother Leola Johnson. Son Rick Byrd and daughters Carol Byrd, Darlene Byrd and Lakesha Byrd. She is also survived by her brothers John and Owen Lenox and sisters Connie, Karen and Shannon Lenox. Glenda Lenox, her sister, was at mom's arrival Home to welcome her. She is also survived by many loving grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
