Myrna Loy Black Grimmett, 76 years young and long-time resident of the Aurora area, died peacefully on 21st day of October 2012, during her home hospice care for adnominal cancer. Born in Georgia, Myrna settled in the Aurora Colorado. She loved a good mystery novel or TV shows Thank you Gibbs, Matlock, Perry Mason, and Jessica. She enjoyed playing Bingo, spending time with her Grandchildren, going on Senior outings with friends, and Sunday Pot-Roast dinnerswhich only she could cook, yum yum with the family. Beloved wife of Andrew C. Grimmett and loving mother of Frederick E, Leigh Anne Firman, Daniel G., and Kiki. Grandmother of Ronny and Cori whom brought her great joy, in her retirement years. Myrna's career spanned over 33 years in Civil Service at Lowry AFB. Following her retirement she worked for Aurora Public Schools. Memorial gifts may be made to the Denver Humane Society, Denver Hospice, and America Cancer Society. Service to be held at Fort Logan National Cemetery, 3698 S. Sheridan Blvd. on Friday, November 2, 1:30pm Area "B"
