Memorial services for Murlene Robinson, a resident of Denver will start at 2:00 p.m. Friday, April 10, 2015 at the Horan & McConaty Mortuary on 1091 S. Colorado Blvd, Denver, CO., The Robinson family will greet friends from 2:30 - 3:00 p.m. on Friday, April 10, 2015 at Horan & McConaty.

Murlene passed away Monday, April 6, 2015 at the Denver Hospice and Palliative Care Center, in Lowry. Murlene Robinson was born January 1, 1942 in Topeka Kansas, the daughter of Cleo Mathis and Erlene Jamerson. She was united in marriage to Elisha L Robinson. He preceded her in death October 11, 1999. Through thick & thick & thin they exemplified the institution of marriage.

Murlene retired from the Cherry Creek school district and went on to work for the county of Arapahoe as a foster mother for numerous children until she could no longer provide care for her foster children due to her own health concerns

She is survived by her children and spouses; Ladana (Andrea) Williams, Jacksonville, FL, Articia (Darnell) Martin, Denver, CO, Bruce (Jamie) Robinson, Seattle, WA, Robert (Terenia) Robinson; a step-son Elisha L. Robinson, Denver, CO; several loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, and 1 brother.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Vernon, a sister Ernestine, brother, Frank, and mother Erlene.
