Monique Rogers

Monique Rogers, a resident of Albuquerque, NM, passed away to God on Christmas Eve December 24th 2019 at the age of 48.

She held a heart that loved everybody all of the time. She loved her family unconditionally and selflessly. Her beautiful children and grandchildren made her shine even more, they made her the happiest. Visits with other family including her sisters she definitely cherished. She loved her cat “Love” that was her baby. She has the kindest soul. She will be missed by all, her loving family and to all of those whose lives she touched.

She is preceded in death by her mom Rose Ann Varvarigos; (Maternal) grandparents Rose Monica Ginn and James W Ginn; (Paternal) Grandparents Mary Ann Kennerely and Byron Rogers Sr.; Brother Demetrius Varvarigos; Uncle Ronald Ginn; Nephew Zachariah Herrera; Granddaughter Denali J Price.

She is survived by her children Luchrisa M Price, Isabel T Price and son Placido. Stepchildren Charles Romero and Vanessa Romero. Grandchildren Mia, Rose, Serenity, and Ella. Father Byron Eugen Rogers. Sisters Candice Cantu, Cristy Rogers, and Tasha Hamilton. Nieces/Nephews Lee Cantu, April Cantu, Teo Cantu, Shawntee Cantu, Rebecca Herrera, Isaiah Hamilton, Elijah Hamilton, Joni Hamilton; Uncle Lawrence Ginn; and life partner and father of her children Charles Price; And many other loving family and friends.

A celebration of Moniques’ life will be held at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic  Church, 5415 Fortuna Rd NW, Albuquerque, NM 87105, on Wednesday, January 22, 2020 at 9:00am, reception to follow after services.
