Michelle Lerma

Michelle Veronica Lerma 59, a resident of Santa Fe passed away July 2, 2022.

On July 2, 2022, Michelle Staszewski Lerma is at rest after a short battle with pancreatic cancer, she was 59 years old.
Michelle was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend. She was born on July 7th, 1962 in Santa Fe, NM.  Michelle is survived by her husband Joey Lerma, son Jose and daughter Victoria. She worked many years at Furrs/Smith’s grocery store as a Deli Manager. Michelle’s caring and loving heart has touched many people and will never be forgotten. Her endless acts of selflessness and putting everyone first will always be cherished.  We will miss all her cooking, baking and decorating for all the holidays, especially Christmas.
No matter how sick she was, she was determined when anyone else would have broken, she stayed strong. Just because she isn’t here, doesn’t mean she lost her fight.

A Rosary will be recited on Monday, July 25 at 9:30 am at Santa Maria de la Paz Catholic Church. Mass will be held immediately after the Rosary at 10 am.

A celebration of life will held at the Santa Maria de la Paz Social Center after Mass.
