Michael Samu

Michael Joseph Samu of Aurora, Colorado, passed away at home on April 25, 2015 after a short illness. He was 67 years old. He is survived by his sister Patty (Georgia), his brother, Jerry (Texas), his ex-wife, Sharon, his two children, Mike and Jeff and four granddaughters, McKenna, Reese, Elizabeth and Violet.

Michael was born in 1947 in Dayton, Ohio, the second child of Betty and Joe Samu. He was a long-time Facilities Manager, including 16 years at Jeppesen Sanderson. He later spent time volunteering for Rebuilding Together Metro Denver, an organization that helped to provide home repairs to homeowners in need. In addition he served in the Coast Guard.
