Mike was a Colorado native, born and raised in Denver. Mike went to Lakewood HS and graduated from Colorado School of Mines in 1974 with a BS in CPR Engineering where he was a brother in Beta Theta Pi. Mike married the love of his life Marsha Ann Reed (deceased 1992) in Hawaii in 1990, with lifelong friends Billy and Princess Collins in attendance. Mike trained himself on the career path in which he excelled as a Senior Software Developer for Polar Research, most recently with CH2MHill. Mike just retired. Mike loved to ski and ride dirt bikes and loved his first car, a 67 Camaro. He loved to play golf. His love for golf started at age 7 when he got his first golf club and remained a true passion for the rest of his life. He loved the Broncos and the Avalanche. He loved a challenge and pursued answers diligently with humor and tenacity. He prepared for his reunion with Marsha and God with good humor and faith that he will be present in Everlasting Life. He spoke his faith to us, "Believe in the Good, It's Easy", and ''I'll be setting the table for you!" One of Mike's best friends Dan Weisiger shares "I assume the table he has set for us will be garnished with plenty of meat and potatoes, adult beverages, and of course pecan pie. Laughter will abound, and plenty of rock and roll songs (including Crosby Stills, Nash and Young, Eagles, Dire Straits, and ZZ Top) will be heard. I look forward to partying with him and all of you then. God Bless him!"
Mike was a true friend with a pure heart, Son of Wanda Dover of Aurora and Zane Dover of Northglenn, brother to Kim Hebron of Silverthorne, Brother in law Roderick Hebron, and Uncle to Leslie and Roderick ‘Rip' Hebron. He is survived by family in Denver including the Lytle family (Betty, Kelly, Cathy, Carly and Kelsey), Kathy and Janessa Eberle, Donna and Noel Hover, Jane and Gary Frank, and Liz and Ellen of Hardeggers, MN.
