Maxine Lovatto

Our Beloved Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother Maxine Louise Lovatto at 97 passed away on June 10th, 2023 surrounded by loved ones.

An Angel

An angel lived among us,

A gift from God above.

She showered us with kindness

And shared with us her love.

She cherished every moment

With the man who was her life;

Walking hand in hand together,

Facing life with all its strife;

She loved her children dearly,

Each one a different way,

Nestled close within her heart.

Though, now, she is far away.

She’s gone to live with Jesus.

But, she’s here with us, today,

Smiling down on every one of us,

And telling us she’s O.K

Maxine Louise Lovatto was born in Lafayette Colorado to the parents of Lawrence Carrillo and Della Romero Carrillo on November 16, 1925, She was the eldest of 12 siblings.

Maxine was married to her beloved husband Peter Albert Lovatto Sr. for over 50 years; he passed away March 29, 2002. She was survived by her children Peggy Hastings, Phyllis Lovatto, David Lovatto & Dennis Lovatto and her children that passed before her Peter A. Lovatto Jr and Patricia Ann Lovatto.

Maxine had 16 Grandchildren, 23 Great Grandchildren and 5 Great Great Grandchildren, 44 in total.

Services will be held on Friday June 23rd at 11:00AM at St Joseph Catholic Church 600 Galapago St. Denver Co 80204 with reception following in the church hall.
