Mary spent 18 years of her life serving children their lunches she also had other occupations one being with the laundry services. She then retired and help raised her grandchildren from picking them up from school to taking them to soccer practice, she was constantly planning birthday parties and we had many weekend barbeques. She was a stubborn lady and we had tons of crazy fun and so many good memories from drinking red beer in the bar to making menudo on Sunday. I remember one time little Jamie was cutting tripe for the menudo and my mom yelling at little Jamie telling her she was cutting the menudo to small then minutes later she was yelling they were too big. I also remember when we had taken her the grizzly reservoir for the first time to go camping with the whole family she was in the back of the Durango June owned at the time with Cecilio and she was bouncing around laughing like crazy trying to hold on the her seat on that trip she had so much fun and was spoiled by the rangers their they brought her a jar of fresh jelly. Or when she used to take me to Woolsworth for lunch or visiting her sister at work, or a time yellowfront we had finished shopping and she had driven her car over the parking lot bumpers and we needed people to help push the car off she did many silly things like that.
(Joey's memories) one good memory I have of my mom is when she told me "hito this door is always open for you" one time on Huckleberry Fin day my mom was so proud of me for getting my picture in the newspaper.
She had four children Jeff, Anthony, Joey, and June and many grandchildren Joseph Ramirez, Angelo Ramirez, Jamie Ramirez, Cecilio Casillas and Gabriela Casillas
