Martha Susan Lindecker, 66, Hermitage, Tennessee.
Beloved daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, and friend.
Martha was born in Detroit, Michigan, but lived most of her life in Nashville, Tennessee. A kind and caring individual, Martha received her bachelor's degree in Social Work from Middle Tennessee State
University and after completing the Baptist School of Nursing at Baptist Hospital, she worked as an LPN for almost 30 years. She also brought joy to the world as "Buttons," her clown character she created.
Martha was predeceased by her parents, Wayne Moore Lindecker, Jr. and Ruth Louise Postle Lindecker. She is survived by her sister, Deborah Ruth Lindecker, her brother, Mark Wayne (Leslie) Lindecker,
her son, Nicholas Wayne (Morgan) Solomon, and her grandchildren, Nicholas Wayne Solomon, Jr., and Moriah Ruth Solomon.A memorial service will be held at Immanuel Baptist Church, Lebanon,
Tennessee, on Friday, March 26, 2021, with visitation at noon and the
service at 1:00 p.m. The family suggests memorials be made to the
Parkinson Research Foundation, the American Diabetes Association,
or the charity of your choice.
