Mark Pixton

Mark Richard Pixton passed away in Aurora, Colorado on June 7, 2020 at the age of 58. The oldest of four children, he was born to Richard Pixton and Faye Ann Johnson on August 7, 1961.

Mark made all who knew him feel loved and important. He always had a kind word to say and constantly looked for the best in everyone. He met his sweetheart, Robbi Tree, while attending Brigham Young University. After serving a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Kobe, Japan they were married in the Salt Lake City Temple on December 17, 1984. Together they celebrated 35 amazing years together. Mark graduated from Brigham Young University with his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, as well as his Masters of Business Administration. He spent over 30 years working as a mechanical engineer, primarily in Utah and Colorado. Mark was dedicated to his faith and served faithfully in numerous church assignments. He loved to be outdoors and loved watching BYU sports with his family. He will be remembered for his ability to teach and interact with everyone, regardless of their age.

Preceded in death by his father and mother. He left behind his wife Roberta "Robbi"; sons, Benjamin (Erika) Pixton, Samuel (Ashley) Pixton; daughters, Megan (Samuel) Christensen, Kimberly Sigmon; six grandchildren; sister Rebecca (Alan) South; brothers Steven (Marva) Pixton and Jeffrey (Tina) Pixton.

Mark will be missed by many in this life, but we know that we will see him again one day. We have created a form to collect memories of Mark. The family is planning a private memorial service that will take place June 12, at 11:00am. The service will be livestreamed for those who wish to join remotely at
