Marjorie (Marge) Stringlund was born on September 3rd, 1927 in Minot, Whitefish,Montana. She was the only child of Vivian and Jack Stringlund. She and graduated from Whitefish High School in 1945.

Marge graduated from St Lukes Hospital School of Nursing in Seattle Washington in 1948. She was working in a blood bank and this is where she met the love of her life William Vandersluis and was married in 1951.

After working as a nurse for 6 years, she retired to raise her family.

Marge was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and there was always something going on during the weekends and holidays. She wanted to make sure she left her children with traditions and memories they could pass on. She was avid reader, with a love of travel. Marge and her husband Bill, had a map that mark every location in North America, where they had taken trips together.

Marge is survived by her 4 children - Jim Vandersluis (Vicki), Tom Vandersluis (Peggy), Linda Scott and Sue Wuest (Mark) grandchildren, greatgrandchilden, sister in laws and many nieces and nephews. Her husband Bill, her parents, Vivian and Jack Stringlund and her son Paul, predeceased her.

Marge passed away peacefully on August 11th, 2016, surrounded by her family.
