Graduated from South High School in Denver in 1952; Kansas City, Mo School of Dentistry in 1959 and Iliff School of Theology with a Master's degree in Divinity in 1995. He retired after 27 years in the Air force as a Lt. Colonel. He was preceded in death by his parents, G. Ralph Heimerich and Evelyn May Heimerich as well as multiple Scottish Terriers. He is survived by his wife, Joyce Heimerich; daughters, Sheryl Farmer of Hotchkiss, CO, Cathy White of Mt. Pleasant, TX; grandchildren, Reece Farmer of Hotchkiss, CO; Colton Farmer of Hotchkiss, CO and Faline Farmer of Grand Junction, CO and great grandchildren, Bentley, Liam and Hanna Farmer of Hotchkiss, CO. A celebration of Lyle's life with be held at The Evanston Center for Spiritual Wholeness and Healing on Dec. 5th at 2:00 pm to honor his life with joy and spirituality at 2122 S. Lafayette St., Denver. He is gone from our sight but not from our hearts and we rejoice in the knowledge that Lyle is in Heaven with the Lord our God and that we will see him again.
