Luke Decoteau

June 19, 1957 — September 29, 2015

Luke L. DeCoteau of Fort Collins, CO passed away at University of Colorado Anschutz Hospital on September 29, 2015 of acute hemolytic anemia of unknown cause.

Mr. DeCoteau was born in Glendive, MT and grew up in Casper, WY. He graduated from Casper Kelly Walsh High School in 1975. He received an Associate's Degree in music from Sheridan College (Sheridan, WY) and a degree in diesel power mechanics from Casper College. He worked at Montana-Dakota Utilities in the natural gas industry in Sheridan, WY for many years. While living in Fort Collins, he consulted in the natural gas industry. He was a world-class bass guitar player, loved music and riding his bicycle on the trails in Fort Collins, enjoyed wood working, and many other endeavors.

He is survived by his wife Lisa Lowseth, DVM of Fort Collins. He is also survived by brothers Norman Moreno and wife Nancy of Minnesota, Tyrone Moreno and wife Julie of Iowa, Hermis and wife Annette of Riverton, WY, Edward DeCoteau of Portland, OR and sisters Geraldine Dressler, Julie DeCoteau, and AnnCellador DeCoteau all of Casper, and Gretchen Leisure and husband James of Alabama. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry Alfred and Irene May (Parisien) DeCoteau and one sister, Emma Lou Smith.

A Catholic Funeral Mass will be held October 12, 2015 at 11:00 am at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, 400 Country Club Road in Casper, WY. To share condolences and memories, you may do so below.
