Louis A. Patille
Louis Anthony Patille was born in Wilmington, Delaware on May 17, 1950 and passed away on January 9, 2017 in Denver, Colorado at the age of 66. Lou is survived by his wife of 44 years, Linda. He was predeceased by his parents Frank and Antoinette Patille and his brother Charles. He is survived by his niece Debby (Vidya) and his nephew Frankie (Diana), his sister-in-laws Janie (Jerry), Donna and nephews Sean (Jen) and Matthew (Becky) and his niece Kim.
Lou was a graduate of Salesianum School, the University of Delaware and Penn State University. He was an economist, a bio-statistician and an economics professor, developing and teaching graduate-level classes. Lou was a volunteer for the Denver Museum of Nature and Science for over 15 years. He had many interests, including photography and wood working. He also built and maintained a small koi pond and raised 6 Great Pyrenees. He will be greatly missed.
A celebration will be planned at a later date at the Denver Museum of Nature and Science.
