Age 69, passed away Thursday, February 23, 2017. He was born in Albuquerque, NM on June 14, 1947, to Leo and Tommie Montoya.
He was preceded in death by his parents Leo and Tommie Montoya; brother Danny Montoya and Father in-law, Frank Carrillo.
Louie is survived by wife, Linda Carrillo-Montoya; sons, Louie Montoya Jr. (Ace), Damian (Huero), Andre and wife Rachel; grandchildren, Jazmin, Mia, Anjelica, Noah, and Camille; brothers, Abie and Larry; sisters, Sandy, Betty, and Kathy; mother in-law, Tina Carrillo.
Squirrel was a successful business owner, he is known as Mr. Latin Style. He promoted car and bike shows across New Mexico along with concerts. Squirrel had traveled all over the United States and sold his famous Latin Styled t-shirts. He was loved by many family and friends, he always put everyone first and gave his helping hands.
Rosary will be recited at 10:30 am on Friday, March 3, 2017 at Holy Family Church, 562 Atrisco Drive SW, with a Funeral Mass to follow at 11:00 am. Reception will be held at 12:00 pm at the Holy Family Parish Hall.
