Lori Temple

April 28, 1952 — March 7, 2015

Lori was born on April 28, 1952 in Spanish Fork, Utah to Madaline June Haynes, a homemaker, and Bert L. Denison, a maintainer/signalman for the Rio Grande Railroad. She was welcomed into the soon- to-be family of eight by big brother Vernon Scott (Bubby) and big sister Judith Lynn. She was later joined by little sister Shelley (only 18 months younger), little brother Todd Haynes, and baby sister Amy. Lori had a career in dental assisting and enjoyed her time with the University of Colorado School of Dentistry. She always stayed close to the family and loved our family get-togethers to laugh and share stories. She met and married Joshua Temple in 1989 and they had 25 wonderful years together. Lori's health had declined in the last year, and after experiencing a heart attack and congestive heart failure, her heart stopped during a medical procedure that was intended to help and prolong her life. Our Lori was taken from us much too soon on March 7, 2015.

Lori was a wife, a sister, an aunt and a beloved friend, and her passing has left a huge void in our lives. Lori's laughter was a source of joy and comfort to all who knew her. She opened her heart freely, accepting others for exactly who they were, loving unconditionally.

Lori is preceded in death by her mother Madaline June (Haynes) Denison, father Bert L. Denison, and brother-in-law Richard Olson.

She is survived by the love of her life and husband, Joshua A. Temple. Also survived by siblings: Vernon Denison (Sharon), Judy Olson, Shelley Denison, Todd Denison and Amy Bolding; nieces and nephews: Terry Denison (Susan), Lisa Stewart (Peter), Rick Olson, Dan Olson (Laura), Afton Trujillo (Damion), Chris Trujillo, Hallie Denison, Katelyn Bolding and Rebecca Bolding; great nieces and nephews: Kyle Olson, Jaime Olson and Blake Trujillo; and many extended family, friends and felines.
