Lester Horn

Les spent his childhood growing up in California with his parents, five sisters, and one brother. He joined the Air Force at seventeen and was stationed in Kaiserslautern, Germany. It was there he met and married his wife of 57 years, Ruth. They had three daughters: Kari, Janette, and Annette. The family spent their early years in California before moving to Colorado when Les went to work as a computer analyst for United Air Lines. He remained at United until he retired.
Les was a fun loving man who enjoyed life. His interests included motorcycle riding, traveling with family in his motorhome, golf and badmitton. He loved playing with his grandkids and taking them for bike rides to Daz Bog coffee!
Les is survived by his wife, Ruth, daughter Kari Van Horn, daughter Janette Heyliger and her husband Paul, step daughter Helga Bacher and her husband Tom. Sister Linda Bevill and her husband Bob, and sister Verdene Shelton. Grandchildren, Luke, Cameron, and Kendall Heyliger and Katie and Faith Snyder.
