Leonard Maggard

LEONARD WAYNE MAGGARD

June 11, 1953 - July 16, 2018

Today, July 16, 2018, Leonard Wayne Maggard went to be with his Beloved TheoDora Rose Pandora Fry  and our Loving Father in Heaven ending his fight against a 2-year battle with cancer. He was preceded by his Father, Robert Noah Maggard, his mother Frances Gertrude Yarbrough Grobecker and longtime Beloved TheoDora Fry.

He is survived by his siblings Roberta Gordon, Mary Grace Bowlby, Susan Wilson,  Cindy Dine, Monica Maggard, Robert Maggard, and Larry Jay Grobecker. His children: Michael, Patrick, William, Steven, David, and Jared. Leonard has 14 Grand Children and 18 Great Grand Children.

Leonard grew up in Farmington, NM and Liberal, KS where he enjoyed playing High School Football. Since 1968 he has been a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. After High School Leonard moved to Salt Lake City, UT to attend Stevens-Henager College. Later he moved to Boise City, OK in the Winter of 1973. After a short time in Boise City, OK he then moved back to Liberal, KS.

In 1986 Leonard moved to Salina, KS and lived there while attending Salina Technical School. Later, he moved with his Beloved Theo to Corpus Christi prior to moving back to Farmington, NM to care for his late Mother, Francis Gertrude Grobecker. In the winter of 2015 his beloved TheoDora Fry went to be with the Lord followed by his mother Francis Gertrude Grobecker.

Leonard is loved and will truly be missed by us all.
