Lawrence Stone

Lawrence O'Neal Stone (Larry) passed away on August 4, 2018 in Aurora, Co. He was the husband of Nancy L. Stone. They shared 48 years of marriage together.

Born in Walhalla, South Carolina, he was the son of Ed and Maude Stone. He was retired after spending 26 years serving in the Armed Forces, later worked and retired from the U. S. Postal Service. He was a member of the National EOD Association, EOD MasterBlasters, and 3rd Creek EOD yearly reunion in Idaho. He enjoyed fishing, hiking, outdoor activities, traveling, time spent on his boat and time spent with his family and friends. He will be remembered for always helping others, always keeping busy with projects, and his friendly personality and dedication to the U. S. Military Services. He is survived by his spouse Nancy L Stone, son, Andrew Stone and daughter-in-law, Crystal, Grandchildren, Quartz and Onyx. He was preceded in death by his parents Ed and Maude Stone, Brother Harold Stone, Sisters, Earline Crumpton, Edna Sullivan, and Patricia Lee. He is survived by sisters Lucy Matthews, Rachel English, Barbara Cain, and Betty Cody, as well as many nieces and nephews.

The memorial service will be held on August 13, 2018 at 3:00 at Fort Logan National Cemetery, Area "A"
