Laverne Otero Shaw of Gallup, New Mexico

Passed away at age 70 on Tuesday, July 7 ,2020 In Rio Rancho, New Mexico.  She was born into the Salt clan, born for the Many hogans clan.

She was a faithful member of her church. She was dorm attendant for 13 years at Chuska Boarding School in Tohatchi, New Mexico. She enjoyed spending time with her family. She was great mother and grand mother. She will be dearly missed.

She was proceeded in death by her parents, Mariano Otero and Gli has bah Otero; brother, Amos Otero; sisters, Mary Butler and Nellie Sala.

Survivors include her husband, Emery Eugene Shaw; daughters, Cynthia Nuszkiewicz of Crescent City, CA, Rie Tina Littlehead of Shawnee, OK, and Samatha Morris of Albuquerque, NM; granddaughters, Candace M. Yazzie of Thoreau, NM, Courtney A. Littlehead of Shawnee, OK, and Myra A. Littlehead of Shawnee, OK; grandson, Logan A, Otero; great-grandsons, Vincent Brian Poe, Rielyan Lorenzo Littlehead, and Xyren Edgar Yazzie.

Due to COVID-19 pandemic, memorial services will be announced at a later date.
