Laura Lee Fry died September 12th after a summer's long battle with lung cancer. She was 64. She is greatly missed now by her friends and family.
Laura had a great thrill and spirit for life; she loved experiencing all types of indoor and outdoor activities. She had a thirst for learning about every academic discipline she could get her hands on, making it difficult for others to keep up with the speed that she moved through life with.

She settled first on the Colorado west slope in Grand Junction where she owned and operated the Rocky Mountain Lady Salon. She later moved back to the Denver/Boulder area where she has continued to own or work in the salon business as a hair and makeup artist - her life passion. She received a bachelor's degree in business from Mesa College and a masters in Community Leadership: Pastoral Administration from Regis University. She was a very active member of several organizations such as Optimist International, and the Business and Professional Women's Foundation. Additional passions of Laura's were for historical research, educating, and writing, with her most recent publication being The Art of Looking Good - which she stated is an "entire book of possibilities".
Laura is preceded in death by her parents John and Eleanor Rogers. She is survived by her son Aaron Fry, daughter Lori Ann Cali, four grandchildren, sisters Randella Knight, Diana Brekke, and Mary Rogers, and brothers Mark and Paul Rogers.
