Larry Leyba

Larry Leyba, age 65, a lifetime resident of Santa Fe passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on September 11, 2016.  He was preceded in death by his parents Luis and Maida Leyba; grandson Chris Aguayo.  He was well-known for his upholstery work and working with his hands he was a very hard worker.   He loved going to the casino and spending time with his family.  He will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him.  He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years Patsy Leyba; son Lloyd Montoya and wife Angela; daughter Denise Aguayo and husband John; daughter Linda Garcia; 9 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; brothers Ronnie Lebya and wife Judy, Jerry Leyba and wife Alma, Johnny Leyba and wife Anita, Tony Castellano and Eugene Leyba and wife Patty; sister Teresa Sandoval and husband Gilbert; two loving aunts Mabel Moya and Lucy Romero and husband Benny;  close cousin Margaret Patterson and husband Ernie; plus many other loving relatives, family and friends.  Private family services will be held at a later date.
