After battling cancer, Kyle Suzanne McDonough peacefully passed away on the morning of Wednesday, December 4th, 2013. Kyle was a proud 4th generation Boulder resident with many ties to the community. She was born January 30th, 1954 to Jacquelyne Rae Holland McDonough and Donald Earl McDonough.
A teacher for 30+ years, Kyle's passion was creating young childhood education that was fun and exciting. She believed that education should be hands-on and every situation should be taken as a learning opportunity. Kyle's dream was achieved when she opened her own in-home preschool, where she could provide personalized education to children through small classes and individualized attention.
Kyle was also known for her adventurous personality, positive outlook, witty sense of humor and contagious enthusiasm. She was a loving, family oriented person whose favorite thing to do was spend time with her children. She approached life with a 'no regrets' attitude, and the motivation to succeed at anything. Her energy and optimism will be missed by everyone.
Kyle is survived by her four children: Adam Sarbaugh of Boston, MA, Tegan Bollefer of Centennial, CO, Jordan Sarbaugh of Seattle, WA and Skye Sarbaugh of Lafayette, CO.
Services will be held at Tagawa Gardens, 7711 South Parker Road in Centennial, CO on Sunday, December 15th at 6:30PM. In lieu of flowers or gifts, Kyle has requested donations to Heifer International www.heifer.org
