Krista Collins

Krista died peacefully on April 29, 2020, in her home in Centennial Colorado, at the age of 52. She was born in New Haven, CT on January 23, 1968 to Thomas P. and Barbara (Bulger) Krehnbrink. She became very fond of her step-parent Curtis W. Wible, who entered her life in 1985. Krista has one brother, Daniel S. Krehnbrink. She is also known as Krista J. Wible, Krista Honchar, then in very recent years, Krista Jeanne Collins.

She lived in New Haven until 1975, then the family moved to Springfield PA where she graduated from secondary school. Krista then went to Penn State University and earned a Bachelor's Degree. During her career she resided in PA, DE, NJ, VA, CA, and in 2007

she moved to Colorado, which fulfilled her love of beautiful mountains and open skies. S he was an employee of PeopleSoft/Oracle for 19+ years, while living in CA and CO.

Krista adored traveling, camping, the fresh air and outdoors, and recently the tranquility of her land in the Colorado mountains. She is remembered by long-term friends and colleagues for her kindness, infectious laugh, beautiful smile, spirit, and humanity.

Dogs played an important role in Krista's life, having first rescue dog during her adolescence. She grew to adore Beagles and benefited hugely from dog companionship and the unconditional love and bond with her four Beagle fur kids, to whom she was a great mom.

A celebration of life will be planned for a future date.
