Kirk had a kind and gentle heart, and was known for his quick wit, infectious smile, and kind and compassionate spirit. He possessed a vigorous personality, joyful nature and unquestionable faith in others. He was an avid music lover, and enjoyed cycling, baseball, movies, and family game night. He was also an animal lover, and fiercely loved his two dogs, Paddington and Shiloh.
Kirk was a master electrician, and proud member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local Union 68. He loved to teach his union brothers and sisters.
Kirk was the son of Robert and Arlene Stevenson (both deceased); beloved husband of Victoria Keller; father of Robert (Sharon) Halisay; grandfather of Kai and Meade Halisay; brother of Pamela Stevenson; uncle of Jonathan (Bethany) Draganic and Brian (Keri) Draganic; great-uncle of Jonathan and Claire Draganic; brother-in-law to Tammy and Michael Rhyner, and uncle to their children Ashley and Blake; brother-in-law to Christopher Harker.
He was blessed by many friends and family that loved him dearly.
A Celebration of Kirk's life will take place on July 29, 2018 at the Englewood Elks Club, 3690 S. Jason St, Englewood, CO 80110, from 4:00pm-7:00pm.
