Khrysti Bennett

December 17, 1980 — August 25, 2020

Khrysti Was born at Stormont Vail Hospital in Topeka, Kansas, December 17, 1980. She graduated from Bonner Springs High School in Bonner Springs, Kansas in 1999 as is still in touch with so many of her friends. She was on the school dance team and won a scholarship for dance. She decided to move back to Colorado with her family, where she continued to form strong friendships. You couldn't go anywhere with Khrysti without running into someone who knew her from a previous job or 2. She made a lasting impression on people she didn't even know.

She spent the past 2 ½ years battling ovarian cancer. It came back 3 times. She was a fighter and so strong until the end. She lost her battle with ovarian cancer on August 25, 2020. She was 39 years old.

Khrysti was a daughter, sister, sister in law and aunt. She was a friend and was loved by so many. That was shown so beautifully by what her friends did for her, said about her and those who were able to come see her at the end. She would do anything she could to help anyone. Khrysti was loving and caring, but oh did she have a great sense of humor. The puns she came up with! She got that from her Dad and her beauty inside and out from her Mom. There won't be a day that goes by, that she won't be thought of and missed by all those that loved her.

She is survived by her parents, Rod and Debi, a brother James (Judy) and niece, Katherine, of Highlands Ranch, Colorado. Her grandmother Mary Ann Mock of Topeka, Kansas. Two aunts and uncles, Cheri & Ray Lundin and cousin Jessica, of Topeka, Kansas and Jamie & Paul Boring of Canon City, Colorado. Two great aunts Jeannie Mock, of Overland Park, Kansas. Vernelle Mock and Leslie Lines of Sabetha, Kansas. A great uncle Martin Ross, of Floyds Knob, Indiana and great aunt and uncle, Vicky and Charlie Dinges of Fairplay, Colorado.

You were a truly beautiful person, inside and out. The world has gotten a little smaller without you, but Heaven has another beautiful spirit. Until we meet again, we love you always.
