Kent Michael Wilson, 40, of Greeley, Colorado passed away on October 12, 2017. Born on October 14, 1976 to Ronald and Yvonne (Vonnie) Wilson, Kent was raised, attended school and lived in Arvada for most of his life.
Kent worked as a land surveyor both in Colorado and during the time he lived in Arizona. Kent's greatest passion was his animals, also known as his "kids". He had more dogs and cats than one could count throughout his life and loved each one with every bit of his heart and soul. Kent loved cooking, fishing, superhero movies and was a passionate sports fan, especially when watching the Denver Broncos.
In November of 2012, Kent met his great love, Becky. They enjoyed the best thing in life, each other.
Kent is and will always be loved and missed. He is survived by his mom, Vonnie Wilson of Arvada, his partner in love and life, Becky Garcia of Greeley, his sister, Danielle and her husband, Michael Rizzi of Lafayette, as well as extended family and friends near and far whose lives he touched. He is also survived by his "kids" Champ and Mac.
Kent lost his Dad and Best Friend, Ron Wilson in 2011. He was also preceded in death by his Grandpa, Leslie Wilson, Grandpa, Al Martinez and his Uncle, Bruce Martinez.
Kent Michael's spirit will live on as he gave the gift of life through tissue donation to the Donor Alliance.
Services will be held November 4, 2017 at 10am at Horan & McConaty - Arvada, 7577 W. 80th Ave., Arvada, CO 80003. Reception to follow at the Rizzi residence, 1100 Atlas Circle, Lafayette, CO, 80026.
