Ken was born on February 19th, 1957 in Queens, NY to Al and Caroline Clark. He lived in Howard Beach and Islip, NY. Ken played football during high school and performed with a local band, KARD, as the drummer. He graduated in 1975 from Islip High School. He migrated to Denver in the late 70's and started working at Eastwood Printing which is now Frederic Printing, an RR Donnelley Company. Ken married Karen on May 5th, 1984 and quickly stepped into the role of dad for her son, Scott. On March 21, 1985 his daughter, Amanda, was born. He started racing that same year and bought a mini sprint in 1986, forming the Grizzly Racing team. As the kids grew, the team changed and became the family past time. Scott and Amanda both drove quarter midgets; Scott went on to be the driver for micro sprints and midgets. As a family, they won many races, championships, created many memories, and lifelong friendships. Ken was very proud of his family and the close relationships he had. Ken passed away at Al and Caroline's on May 25, 2015. He is survived by his wife Karen, son Scott, daughters Amanda and Javaneh, parents Al and Caroline and sisters Cheryl and Donna. He will be dearly missed.
