Kendall Francisco

February 20, 1994 — November 11, 2014

Kendall Wade Francisco, age 20, died unexpectedly November 11, 2014 from complications of cancer, despite his determination to meet each day with hope and strength. While receiving treatment, he intentionally connected with each visitor, doctor, nurse, CNA, or housekeeper - expressing gratitude, kindness and often humor. We are so grateful to know that he touched so many people even during brief encounters.

A celebration of his life will be held Sunday, November 23, at 1 PM at Beth-El Mennonite Church, 4625 Ranch Dr, Colorado Springs.

Kendall was a student at Boise State University, where he was majoring in International Business and was a member of Sigma Chi Fraternity. He graduated from William J. Palmer High School in 2012 and enjoyed four years on the wrestling team. Kendall was known for his infectious smile, big bear hugs, and his warm heartedness. He loved snowboarding, wake boarding, scuba diving, boating, his Subi, and spending time with large groups of friends and family.

Surviving Kendall are his parents, Tim and Kari Francisco, his brother Shaun, his maternal grandmother, Dot Spuhler, and paternal grandparents Bob and Shirley Francisco. He is also survived by 9 aunts and uncles, eight cousins and their spouses and children, who always delighted Kendall.
