“A Life Very Well Lived”
Kelley Sue Morgan passed away peacefully in her sleep on January 16, 2021, in Albuquerque, NM. She was born in Madison, Wisconsin, on September 10, 1953, to Edwin Truman Morgan and Marilyn Betty Ronsholdt Morgan. Kelley was the first of three children, followed by Casey Peter and Michael Booth Morgan.
The family moved to California in 1957, settling in Westwood, CA. and later in Santa Monica Canyon. Attending Canyon elementary School, Kelley made many lifelong friends as a very outgoing and outspoken child. She began to play guitar and sing, which showcased her incredible voice and emotional renditions of the Beatles music and folk music of the Sixties became her thing. Love life and all it offers became a rallying cry for Kelley.
Kelley attended the Le Lycee Francais de Los Angeles for junior high school, known for its intensive course instruction in french. She graduated from Palisades High School in 1971.
After attending Immaculate Heart College, Kelley began working in the Healthcare field, where she excelled from the start. She became a kidney dialysis charge nurse after moving to Albuquerque in the early 1980s. With her son Clay by her side and her dogs, Kelley was a caregiver to her mother, Marilyn, in the latter days of Marilyn's life.
Kelley is preceded in death by her brother Michael, father Ed, and mother, Marilyn. She is survived by her son Clay Booth Morgan and brother Casey (Cathy) Morgan, and her canine companions Daisy and Skylar.
