Kathleen Waterworth

January 5, 1928 — August 23, 2018

Loving mother to Joseph (Kitty) of Roseville, CA and Barbara (Keating-Cisneros) (Fred) of Aurora CO.

Grandmother to Sean and Michael Keating, Tina and Tony Lambert, Brent Rees, and JW Waterworth

Great Grandmother to Trevor Morgan, Madison Richardson, Cole Rees, and Alexander and Julia Keating.

Kathy was raised on a farm in Kansas and graduated from Haigler High School 1947 in Haigler Nebraska. She then moved to Denver CO and attended Emily Griffin Business College. Kathy married Joseph Glenn Waterworth and had 2 children.

Kathy worked as a secretary at North Denver Transfer & Storage then at Taylors Supper Club for 26 years until they closed. Kathy was "mother" to many friends she knew and helped throughout her life.

Kathy had 6 siblings, Herman, Mildred, Maxine and Loyd predeceased her along with her loving parents William and Alberta Zuege. Kathy is survived by Calvin Zuege (Jan) of Ft Worth TX and Allen Zuege (Ellen) of Greeley CO.

Maxine and Kathy lived together with all their children for many years when all their kids were young. Kathy has always felt that Maxine's boys Milton and Wayne were like sons to her.

Kathy liked to do embroidery, word puzzles, jig-saw puzzles, and bowling. She loved chocolate, peanut M&M's were her favorite. Every Christmas she made fudge.

Kathy loved the beautiful oil paintings her son has painted and each time he finishes one she would want it for her home. When her daughter was a police officer, she liked to go to work with her and ride along in the police car on patrol.

Kathy especially loved her little dog April Alberta. April was a loving & loyal companion right to the end. April will continue to be cared for by Fred & Barbara.

Mom would want me to let all her family and friends know how much she loved you all.
