Katherine Olson

Katherine Lucille Wares Miller Cross Olson, born May 5, 1929 to Raymond Augustus Wares and Dorotha Marie Nash. Married to Merle Dean Miller on June 8, 1946 and to this union were born Anna Katherine Miller (Elliot) on January 26, 1947 and Mary Marie Miller (Thompson) on February 27, 1950. Katherine then married Raymond C. Cross in 1956 and to this union Michael Thomas Cross was born on March 15, 1958. After Raymond's death, Katherine married Douglas C. Olson in 1959 who adopted Michael.

Katherine is survived by her daughters Anna and Mary, and her son Michael and his wife Sandra; her grandchildren Daymond Olson, Skye Larson and her husband Hawk, and Bill Thompson; along with three great granddaughters Kiely, Hadley and Ruthie, and two great grandsons Isaiah and Noah; her niece Thea Marie Rood and her family, and her nephew Ryan Wares and his family. Katherine was preceded in death by her parents, her second husband, her brother, and her granddaughter, Jennifer Olson.

Katherine's Celebration of Life Memorial will be held at Harvest Fellowship Church just west of Brighton, CO at 11401 E. 160th (Highway 7), Brighton, Colorado on Wednesday, March 7 at 1:00 PM with coffee afterwards. Interment in Atlanta, MO will be later this year.
