It is with heavy hearts we announce the loss of Karen Marie Musich Hodge, beloved daughter, sister, wife, aunt and friend. Karen entered her eternal rest at the age of 59 on January 21, 2025. Karen was born on November 9, 1965 in Aurora, Illinois and moved with her family to Lakewood, Colorado. Karen lived out the rest of her life in the Denver metro area. Karen is survived by her husband, Kenneth Hodge, her twin sister, Donna Musich, her sisters, Beth Musich, Chris Swanson, Rose Frauens and Marie Barefoot, and her brother, Joe Musich and is predeceased by her parents, Donald and Carol Musich and sister, Annette Musich.
Karen is fondly remembered for her infectious laugh, wicked sense of humor, her wonderful smile, and for telling silly jokes. She was a warrior and a fighter in every sense, facing life‘s challenges with strength and grace. Her dedication and passion to volunteering, fundraising and inspiring others to keep fighting their own health battles gave others hope as they watched her fight her own long battle with multiple cancers. Karen also volunteered at her church. Karen will be deeply missed by all who knew her and loved her.
Funeral Services Will be held at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church (2200 S Harrison Street, Denver) on February 20th at 10 AM, preceded by the Rosary at 9:30 AM, and followed by a lunch reception immediately after service.
