Karen Grodecki passed away peacefully on October 12, 2014 after a three year battle with cancer. She enjoyed quilting, knitting, reading and doting on her granddaughters. She found a home working at Coors Field as an employee of Event Services. She was an avid Rockies fan and enjoyed watching their games with her friends and family.
Karen is survived by her husband, Gerald; two daughters, Jennifer (Chad) Patten and Sara (Adam) Dressel; one sister Bonnie Heilbrunn and four brothers, Terry Turner, Randy (Diana) Turner, Barry (Mary) Turner and Michael (Nancy) Turner along with two grandchildren, Sabrina and Bianca.
There will be a celebration of her life with a luncheon at 1:00 PM on Sunday, October 19, 2014 at the Breckenridge Brewery, 2220 Blake St, Denver, CO 80205. You are encouraged to wear your Rockies gear or something purple.
The family requests that memorial contributions be made in Karen's memory to either the Colorado Puppy Rescue,4553 S Mobile Way, Aurora, CO 80015 or a charity of your choice.
