Julie Marlene Clement April 12,1931 - January 25,2022 Julie was born in North Hollywood California, during the Great Depression to Porter B Branstetter and Fern Gemmell Branstetter. She has an older sister named Noreli Brown who still lives in California. Julie met her husband Bruce A Clement in college at Colorado A & M in Ft. Collins CO (now CSU) and married in 1951 in Denver CO. They had three children each two years apart according to Julie’s plan. As parents they strongly encouraged higher education for their children, and also passed on a passion for many varieties of music and art. Bruce and Julie had a constant desire for traveling and visited many countries together which she continued long after his death in October of 1988. She has visited five countries and several continents. Julie was an accomplished seamstress, sewing machine mechanic and an excellent general household engineer. She continued her education at Metropolitan State College at Auraria Campus in Denver at the age of 55 completing a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Management (CMS). This led to several data processing positions. She volunteered her time after retirement, to the church, the neighborhood association and the hospital gift shop for nearly a decade. Mom was a people person and always had a positive outlook on life which she shared with all whom she met. Julie is survived by Noreli Brown, her three children Susan Nace, Bruce Clement Jr. and Barry Clement including her grandchildren Heidi and Mindy Nace, Colin Clement, and Maire Harrison. Her great grandchildren are Ashlynn and Daelyn Nace, and a newly born Alasdair Harrison. Donations to Denver Dumb Friends League would be appreciated.
