Judith Ellen Kwasniewski (Griffith), 86, passed away on May 12, 2023, in Castle Rock, CO. She was born on May 30, 1936, in Chicago, IL, to her parents, Evelyn and Herbert. She had a 40 year career in nursing before retiring and joining Frontier Airlines. Judy was a compassionate and skilled nurse who touched the lives of many patients throughout her career.
She was a devout Christian and worshipped at Faith Presbyterian Church in Aurora, CO. She was actively involved in her church community and participated in various church activities.
Judy had a passion for traveling and exploring new places. She was a world traveler and loved to share her travel experiences with her family and friends. Judy was also actively involved in community theater and enjoyed performing in various plays. She volunteered as an ambassador at Denver International Airport as well as devoting her time with Volunteers of America.
Judy was an avid reader throughout her life with Sue Grafton mystery novels counted among her favorites.
She is survived by her two sisters, Sally Holland and Mary Kate Strelka, 5 loving children; Michael (Lori), David (Nancy), Linda Blasi, Laura Waddell (Clayton), and Jimmy (Susan), 13 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Norbert and grandchild Timothy.
A memorial service is planned on June 5th. 12:00pm at Faith Church, 11373 E Alameda Ave, Aurora, CO, to celebrate Judy's life. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all those who knew her.
