Judith Ann "Doc" Sedlow 70, a resident of Santa Fe, New Mexico passed away February 27, 2020.
Preceded in death by her parents, Abraham and Phyllis Sedlow.
Judith, also known as “Doc,” was born and raised in New Rochelle, NY and made her way to Santa Fe after living on a Kibbutz in Israel during the 1960s. Shortly after settling in Santa Fe she became the Vice President of Marketplace Natural Grocery where she tirelessly strived to create fair and strong opportunities for the community, and promote natural living with her extensive knowledge for alternative medicines and supplements. She was a tremendous athlete, playing softball on several Santa Fe teams starting in the 1980s and winning multiple trophies for the New Mexico Senior Olympics. A fierce environmentalist, she cherished nature in all of its manifestations and passionately photographed nature and birds. She passed in her home surrounded by loved ones after a short illness. Judith was a loving and loyal friend who will be missed by many, and her community-driven spirit will live on in all of us whose lives she touched. A celebration of life is planned for July, 2020 at the Randall Davey Audubon Center and Sanctuary located at 1800 Upper Canyon Road, Santa Fe, NM 87501.
