Joyce Dominguez

Joyce A. Dominguez, 73 of Westminster, CO slipped quietly away on the afternoon of December 22, 2020.  Joyce was born in Denver on May 12, 1947 the daughter of the late Samuel and Katherine Dardano. In addition to her parents, Joyce was proceeded in death by her youngest son, George A. Dominguez, Jr. and beloved sister, Katherine Parks.

On September 27, 1963 she married George Dominguez who survives.  They shared 57 wonderful years together and rarely did you seen one without the other close by.

In addition to her husband, Joyce is survived by two sons, Matthew Dominguez and wife Alicia of Hutto, Texas and Robert Dominguez of Westminster, Colorado.  Joyce relished having 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.  She is also survived by brothers Samuel (Sam) Dardano, Jr. of Lakewood, CO; William (Bill) Dardano and wife, Sandy of Westminster, CO; Anthony (Tony) Dardano and wife, Candy of Phoenix, AZ and several nieces and nephews.

Joyce loved cooking and hosting family gatherings.  She could put out enough food to feed any army and seldom was a bite wasted due to her great cooking and baking abilities.  She was thoughtful and remembered details.  Joyce could recall everyone’s favorite dish and always encouraged everyone to eat up and take a plate home for later!

Due to the current pandemic restrictions the family has decided to forego any gathering at this time.  Joyce will be greatly missed by all that loved her.
