Joseph Fred Pecos - Father, Grandfather, Uncle, Brother and Friend entered heavens gates, waiting for him there his beloved wife Elsie Pecos and son David Lee Pecos. A man of great faith with an infectious smile till the end did not allow his illness to overcome him. There are not enough words to describe this kind, loving, gentle and gracious soul. A US Army Veteran who served overseas, retired from Lockheed Aircraft and State of New Mexico, he passed his time gardening, spoiling his dogs Sammie and Oso and watching his beloved UNM Lobos, GS Warriors, LA Dodgers and Capital Jags. He will be missed by daughter Sharon Trujillo (Anthony), son Joseph Earl, grandchildren Adrienna, Joseph J., Susanna, Natalie and Dana, great-grandchildren Wanique, Andrew, Sarah, Elyzah and Miles as well as many close friends and family. The Pecos family would like to express their gratitude to all care providers for their kind and compassionate care. A special thank you to Pastor Bill and Cathy Barnett, Paul Mills, Ellen Swicegood and our church family City of Faith Fellowship for their continued support. A heart felt thank you to son-in-law Anthony for giving of your time, love, round the clock care of dad/grandpa and most importantly being his sidekick.

A celebration of his life will be held at Freedom Church on Saturday, February 3, 2018 at 10:00 am, 3732 Cerrillos Rd., Santa Fe, New Mexico 87507
