Joseph Martorelli

Joseph Michael Martorelli, 64, of Hermitage, TN passed away Saturday, January 16th, 2021. He
is survived by his wife, Patricia, daughter Joanna, son Frank (Jennifer), grandson Theo, sisters
Carol Kopp and Donna Swanson (Alan), brother Michael (Leslie), and several cousins, nieces
and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Pota Martorelli.
Joe was born in Chicago, Illinois where he worked for United Airlines at O'Hare Airport for 40
years. He loved golf, hockey, detailing cars, and anything to keep him moving. Everyone was
drawn to his gregarious and fun-loving spirit. Joe was a member of St. Stephen Catholic
Community. He was an active member of the Knights of Columbus, Council 9282 being part of
the prep team for their weekly Lenten Fish Fry Dinners and many other Knights sponsored
dinners.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 30th, 2021 at St. Stephen Catholic
Community, 14544 Lebanon Rd., Old Hickory, TN at 10:00 am. Interment will be in Illinois at a
