Jonathan Taylor

March 3, 1979 — May 21, 2020

Colorado resident, Jonathan S. Taylor (41) died May 21, 2020, at his home in Littleton, Colorado.

Jonathan was born March 3, 1979 in Pensacola, Florida to CAPT. Michael and Marilyn Taylor USNR. He grew up in a military family that moved and was blessed to see several parts of the country. His family finally settled in Littleton, Colorado. Jon was the oldest of his siblings, followed by two sisters and a younger brother. He attended Leawood Elementary, Ken Caryl Junior High, and graduated from Columbine High School (1997). He pursued an education in Graphic Design from Arapahoe Community College and ITT Tech. In his free time, he loved updating his 1978 Super Beetle Volkswagon and hanging out with buddies!

He served an honorable mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Washington D.C. South Mission, where he loved serving others and teaching them about his faith in our Savior, Jesus Christ.

From an early age Jon was interested in, and very talented at, drawing. He was able to exercise those skills in different areas and industries, but loved his work at Mile High Memorial as lead graphic designer for several years. His most current work of several years was with Domino's Pizza. He loved serving and meeting so many great people in the Columbine area.

Other hobbies were formed at an early age with a love of Star Wars, science fiction, and fantasy stories at its foundation. He enjoyed designing and sculpting unique Star Wars figures that amazed his friends and family. While working with a surveying company, he could look at a lot and draw it to almost perfect scale with no instruments. He formed some strong and meaningful relationships in a small online gaming community.

Jon loved his family! His son, Dallin, was the light of his life. He had a gentle nature and a great sense of humor. He is survived by his son Dallin, his ex-wife and best friend Kourtney, his parents, Mike and Marilyn Taylor, sister Anna Burton and husband Rustan, nieces and nephews Brenner, Carson, Emma and Abby; his sister Jennifer (Jenny); His brother Patrick and wife Christina, nieces and nephews Lily, Linkin, and Cora, and extended loving uncles, aunts and cousins.
