John Tidswell

John K. Tidswell, 86, passed away April 3, 2016. Born in London, England on the day of the Great Wall Street Stock Market crash. John attended the Royal Military Academy at Sandhurst and graduated as 1st Lieutenant in the British Army. He served in post-war Germany in the early 50's. John immigrated to Canada where he served in the Canadian Army for a number of years. He came to the US in the 70's. He came to Colorado in 1976 where he worked as Service Manager and Warranty Manager for a number of car dealerships. John had a great interest in sports cars and sports car racing. He had a great love for animals and worked several years as a volunteer for Colorado Humane Society. He is survived by his wife Ruth, children Martin Tidswell, Teresa MacKay, and Phillip Tidswell, grandchildren Sarah Perez, Steven and Holly MacKay, and Molly and Jillian Tidswell. John is also survived by his lifelong friend John Serieys, and by the loving members of the Campbell Clan; Elmer, Elsie, Lorene, and Wilma. No services are scheduled at this time.
