John O’Brien

John Edward O'Brien, 61, of Littleton, Colorado, peacefully passed away on August 11, 2018, with his beloved sister at his side. John is with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. John received the promise of eternal life when he was baptized as an infant and continued to profess his faith despite his recent traumatic brain injury.

John was born in Pocatello, Idaho, on November 12, 1956, to John and Betty Jean (Schmidt) O'Brien and grew up in Bozeman, Montana. After attending Montana State University, John began his career in Montana in the computer science field and shortly after moved to Denver, Colorado. He became a highly skilled Business Intelligence and Database Developer and contracted with several companies in the Denver metro area, including IBM for United Launch Alliance. John enjoyed traveling, diving, history, classic movies, and attending Meet In Denver events. All who crossed paths with him will miss John's kind heart, infectious smile, and enthusiastic willingness to help.

John is survived by his sister Kris (Phil) Coneybeer of Indianapolis, Indiana; two aunts; and several cousins. John is preceded in death by his parents and brother Tim O'Brien.
