John Henson

John Travis Henson, 64, of Centennial Colorado, died of cancer on April 9, 2023. He passed away peacefully surrounded by his family.

John is survived by his wife of 24 years, Kerri, sons Max (Miranda), Miles, and Oliver, mother, Pat Henson, sisters Becky (Dave) Johnson, Lindy Matson as well as several special nieces and nephews. John was preceded in death by his father John Garland Henson.

John served in the Army as a truck mechanic. He later started his career as a satellite engineer for 29 years.

John spent his free time watching his son, Oliver, play baseball, having philosophical debates with his sons, learning and talking about geology, fishing, and many other hobbies. He also coached baseball and was a scout leader for his boys.

John will be remembered as a loving family man who always had a dad joke ready in his back pocket. He will be dearly missed and forever hold a place in our hearts.
